Outside Academia

I was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. I moved to the US in Late 2022. 

I like hiking, running (also marathons), playing any racket or paddle games, and video games (of course!). I play electric guitar at a beginner level (trying to improve). 

I love aviation, and my all-time favorite plane has got to be the Blackbird. I also travel a lot and am on a quest to visit the 50 states and the US extreme points as soon as possible.

I watch Formula 1 and root for Max and Red Bull. I'm also interested in logic, philosophy, and psychology, and you can find some of the books that I'm reading in the resources tab!

My musical taste is diverse, but my favorite bands at the moment are Rammstein,  Slipknot, and Hollywood Undead. 

I also have my head in politics and finance, and I follow such news daily.
